PSL Disciplinary Summons

 

The Premier Soccer League has summoned the following clubs to appear before the PSL Disciplinary Committee for alleged acts of misconduct:

 

  1. Highlanders FC

Highlanders FC are being charged for contravening Order 31 of the PSL Rules and regulations following missile throwing and acts of violence that erupted at Ascot Stadium in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Chapungu on 25 October 2018.

In terms of Order 31 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Rules and Regulations;

It is an Act of Misconduct on the part of the Club where;

31.1.13 Its supporters misbehave in any manner whatsoever, inside or outside a ground before, during or after a match, no matter on which ground the match is played. Without derogating from the generality of what constitutes misbehaviours on the part of supporters, the following are specifically declared to be acts of misbehaviour;

31.1.13.3 Throwing or attempting to throw missiles, bottled and other objects, whether potentially harmful or dangerous or not, on to the pitch, or at any person;

31.1.13.5 Acts of violence or attempted acts of violence against anyone at the game

The Disciplinary hearing will take place at the PSL Offices on 13 November 2018.

 

  1. Dynamos FC

Dynamos FC are also being charged for breaching order 31.1.13 and order 31.1.13.3 of the PSL Rules and Regulations after their Chibuku Super Cup semi-final match against Triangle United FC played on Saturday 28 October 2018 at Rufaro Stadium was disrupted by missile throwing and acts of violence.

The club will appear before the PSL disciplinary Committee on 14 November 2018 at the PSL offices in Harare.
