PSL records 2 Covid-19 cases

The Premier League has recorded two positive Covid-19 cases following routine tests conducted over the weekend. The individuals, a club official and a player from the same club were excluded from taking part in match-day 5 activities.

This brings the total of recorded positive Covid-19 cases to three (3), since the resumption of football in May.

The individuals will follow the PSL, ZIFA, SRC, Ministry of Health and Child Care and WHO guidelines and protocols regarding self-isolation.

The PSL urges all stakeholders to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

The League will not provide specific details on the club or individuals. We wish them a speedy recovery.
